Just Try And Compare Radio Controlled Tanks

Complete with moving turret, smoke unit and BB gun the real radio controlled tanks found on today’s websites offer the complete scaled down warfare experience.

Like real tanks a lot of the machines have actual ammo you can fire along with engine and gun noises and even headlights.

Not the most glamorous or graceful RC models out there compared to the slick streamline curves found on the more desired radio controlled trucks or cars but lets face it, do they have ammo on board?

In fact one of the drawbacks with RC cars and buggies is the fact that they break easily and can cost you quite a bit of cash to repair or even replace. You rarely get this issue with tanks. They are built to last.

Taking these off road is all part of the fun and not often will you come across a surface or substance the tank cannot manage or indeed overcome. From concrete to quarries these machines really are tough.

A radio controlled tank has to be tough and durable to with stand all the challenges put in its way. Failing to manoeuvre over rough ground or stall at the slightest knock is not an option.

To ensure you give your tank the best chance to last you need to make sure you choose a tank built by a good manufacturer that uses aluminium or some other metal parts. Especially where the gears encased.

Price like anything is always an issue but the good thing about this hobby is these RC tanks can be bought and maintained for very little money. Some good models can be found online for as little as 40.

Fuel and other factors commonly associated with RC helicopters and cars is not used either in most models as they are powered by batteries that just need charging when required.

What’s great about the BB gun feature is the range and accuracy you can build over time. Initially you may be all over the place but as with controlling the tank, it could take time.

With regards to controlling the tank the most commonly used transmitter with allow you to cover a range of up to 50 feet which allows awesome freedom to do battle.

There tends to be a bit of RC snobbery around radio controlled tanks with the view they are fun toy like items rather than serious machines. Well fear not…there is a lot of us who love these more than other RC models.

Lets take nothing away from other RC models, they all have great features but for me, none compare to the radio controlled tanks - These machines have no flaws and always impress.
